The data we buy
We look for records that show a process from request to outcome. An invoice linked to its order, delivery record, dispute and payment tells us more than an isolated document.
- Orders and finance
- Purchase orders, goods receipts, invoices, credit notes and payments linked by reference numbers.
- Customer service
- Support tickets, customer correspondence, account history and the actions that resolved each case.
- Suppliers and purchasing
- Supplier records, contracts, approvals, delivery changes and the correspondence behind them.
- Operations and inventory
- Stock movements, dispatch events, delivery exceptions and the records of how they were handled.
Existing exports are a useful starting point: CSV or spreadsheet files, database exports, document archives and relevant email exports. Tell us which systems they come from and which dates they cover.
How we assess value
We price the defined dataset and the rights to use it. Our assessment looks at:
- Connections: shared references that link records across systems.
- History: timestamps, status changes and evidence of how a case ended.
- Coverage: enough of a workflow to reconstruct the decisions and their consequences.
- Rights and preparation: permitted uses, restrictions and the work needed to prepare the data.
The commercial offer states the dataset, permitted uses, transfer method, fee and payment terms. Exclusivity and onward licensing are agreed explicitly.
From inventory to agreement
- Describe what you hold. Send the system names, record types, approximate volumes, dates and your authority to discuss a sale.
- Review the scope together. Under NDA, we assess the structure, useful links and rights or confidentiality restrictions.
- Agree a commercial offer. We define the data, usage rights, price, payment terms and transfer responsibilities in writing.
- Transfer the agreed records. We arrange secure delivery and handle preparation and environment development.
What happens to the data
We turn the agreed records into software environments for AI training and evaluation. An agent might investigate an invoice dispute, trace a delayed order or resolve a support escalation. Its actions change the environment, and checks measure whether it completed the task.
Source rights, personal information, confidentiality and third-party content are reviewed before delivery. Identifying content is removed, transformed or excluded according to the dataset's requirements. The contract defines what can be used and licensed onward.
Who we work with
Business owners, authorized management teams, insolvency administrators, liquidators and advisers acting for the relevant rights holders.
We consider data from operating businesses as well as companies restructuring or closing. Each transaction covers a defined dataset and agreed usage rights.
Before you get in touch.
No. We also work with operating businesses that want to sell or license a defined dataset. The agreement sets out the data, permitted uses and any restrictions on future use.
Start by describing the records and their structure. We scope the preparation work as part of the transaction, including personal information and third-party content. Share an inventory first; detailed data review and transfer are arranged under NDA.
Existing exports are a starting point. We agree the transfer method and any access requirements in advance, around the systems and records included in the transaction.
We make an offer after reviewing the dataset and rights. Linked records, historical coverage, useful outcomes and preparation requirements determine the scope and price. Payment terms are set out in the agreement.
